This railway underpass crosses the Victoria to Croydon train line and is situated within 5 minutes walk from Balham tube and mainline stations

There is some limited parking without any permits required at the very end of Cavendish road.

Additional information:

The tunnel is 5 metres wide and has some street lighting on one wall.

There is pedestrian traffic that goes through it, but tends to be relatively light, especially during the week. Access through the tunnel leads from Balham to Tooting Beck Common.

Trains are visible at the top of the tunnel on either side when they pass by.
